10th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative
November 16 - 19, 2021

On behalf of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative (CNOC), members of the CNOC Steering and Program Committees, and our Diamond Hosts, Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah, we are excited about welcoming you to CNOC’s 10th Annual Scientific Sessions.

Throughout this year’s virtual meeting we will hear from leaders in the field of cardiac neurodevelopment as we explore cutting-edge science, clinical paradigms and interventions, quality improvement, and advocacy opportunities from around the globe. We have brought together a diverse program of multidisciplinary faculty experts who work with, or care for, infants, children, adolescents, or adults with congenital heart disease and their families, with a focus on improving neurodevelopmental and psychosocial outcomes.

Virtual conference highlights include:

  • Sessions dedicated to excellence in neurodevelopmental care across the globe, showcasing the latest science, clinical practice, and health policy.
  • For the first time in CNOC’s history, a session bringing together leaders from seven CHD advocacy organizations to ‘think big’ and envision our future together.
  • Our Year-in-Review, presenting a selection of the top papers relevant to our field this year.
  • A joint session with the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA), partnering with patient champions to promote health outcomes.
  • Science posters and abstracts submitted to the conference, including oral presentation of the eight best submitted abstracts.
  • Sessions about the 'nuts and bolts' of neurodevelopmental and psychosocial interventions across the lifespan, as well as strategies for forming and progressing your cardiac neurodevelopmental program.
  • CNOC and CNOC Registry updates, including a special announcement from our Co-Chairs regarding additional research opportunities.
  • And we proudly present this year’s Newburger-Bellinger Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Award Winner – Erica Sood, PhD.

We are also thrilled to partner with Seattle Children’s Hospital for a very special three-hour preconference workshop about cardiac developmental care (Tuesday, November 16), presented by CNOC’s Cardiac Newborn Neuroprotective Network (CNNN) SIG.

We thank you for supporting CNOC’s 10th Annual Scientific Sessions, and welcome!
