Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Healthcare, Primary Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative (CNOC). Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Nursing Accreditation
Intermountain Healthcare is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.  This activity is jointly provided by Intermountain Healthcare, Primary Children's Hospital, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative (CNOC). This live activity offers a maximum of 15.25* nursing contact hours. Successful completion is attending no less than 1 full session and claiming credit only for sessions attended. No commercial support is being received for this event.

*Credit hours are subject to change and are based on actual learning hours at the discretion of IPCE.

Speech-Language Pathologist Participation 
This activity is not registered with the ASHA CE Registry. However, ASHA will accept workshops and seminars offered through other professional associations like those offered for continuing medical education (CME) units. SLP participants are responsible for assuring that reported continuing medical education hours meet ASHA Clinical Certification Standards as defined here: https://www.asha.org/certification/factdef/.

SLP participants may use the Verification of Attendance Form to track the hours completed for this course and a certificate of attendance will be provided upon completion of self-assessment materials by the listed due date. These materials can be used to verify participation.
