Welcome to the Sixth Annual Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Symposium!

On behalf of the Program Committee, we are excited about welcoming you to the Sixth Annual Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Symposium. This interdisciplinary conference was designed to promote collaboration among all professionals who work with children and young adults with congenital heart disease.  Special sessions will focus on Autism and ADHD in Children with ADHD, the Initial Hospital Course in Early Infancy, New Strategies at the Far Ends of the Age Spectrum, and Advocating for Appropriate Neurodevelopmental Care.

The success of this conference is directly related to both you and to the continual work and diligence of our large volunteer-based community.  They have spent the better part of a year on organizational efforts.  We thank the members of this year’s Program and Meeting Committee and express gratitude for the tireless effort of Jennifer Butcher, Bill Gaynor, Caren Goldberg, David Goldberg, Christine La Jeunesse, Karen Uzark, and Elizabeth Willen.

We are especially pleased with the roll of speakers representing leading cardiac centers from around the world who have graciously agreed to participate. If not for the generous support of our vastly diverse and knowledgeable speakers and abstract presenters, none of this would be possible. Please take the time to personally thank them.

We thank you for attending and look forward to your participation!
