Current Job Opportunities Job Opportunities Current Job Opportunities Job Title:Pediatric NeuropsychologistDate Posted:2023-08-09Job Location:Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine; Atlanta, GeorgiaJob Requirements:PhD or PsyD from an American Psychological Association (APA)/Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)-accredited program - Completion of a formal postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, with an emphasis in pediatrics - Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia - Board-certified in clinical neuropsychology, or must obtain board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) or American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN)Job Description:Outpatient Generalist and Cardiac Consult (1.0 clinical FTE): This neuropsychologist will be a generalist who primarily conducts outpatient evaluations of patients with various neurologic diagnoses, including those with congenital heart disease (CHD) and other cardiac abnormalities, and will serve as a liaison for the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program. Opportunities for consultative inpatient services in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and/or cardiac step-down unit and participation in outcome research with cardiac clinical registries are available. Select candidates will be eligible for an academic appointment at the Emory University School of Medicine, with rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition, there are opportunities to engage in collaborative research. Consultative services in medical clinics are also possible. The pediatric neuropsychologist will have the opportunity to supervise trainees, including doctoral level graduate students (externs), interns, and fellows as part of our APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship and APA-accredited internship.
